ArcServe 7.0 & Manager Connect Problem (NetWare !!)

Issue:
Installed AS7 for Netware and the Arcserve
Manager Couldn't connect to a fileserver running
Arcserve7 with and without changer or recommended
fixpacks of CA still no connection until:
after a week of CA support calls what had not the
requested results I was investigating via the web
and testing all in our testlab until the next
sollution was found.

Arcserve 7 is not the bad product but it is the
missing information about how to get the Manager
working.!!! Hint for our CA specialists
If configured the ASCONFIG.INI file on the
fileserver to use at the CATIRPC.NLM a differend
port to prevent abending (if using e.g
bordermanager = port 80 is default) change: add
e.g. -port=200 at the end of the LOAD line.
Then the next items must be modified to get the
ARCSERVE 7 MANAGER working.
1) modify the services file on the Workstation
running e.g. WinNT 4.0
or W2K (I've them both running fine)
add the next items   :arcserve  200/TCP
                      arcserve  200/UDP
2) ADD the following registry key: (copy past
into txt file and change extension to .reg and
execute)

this got it for me to work with pure IP
connecting to all fileservers running NW5.1- sp2a
etc.
4)for nw411 use the SPX connection method and
perform the next registry entry
(use like item 2)
